Dias “top notch” team credited with one of the most technically challenging surveys in BC history

“In 2023, Freeport-McMoRan funded a mapping/sampling and geophysical program at ArcWest’s Todd Creek Cu-Au project, which is situated approximately 30 km southeast of Newmont’s Brucejack Au-Ag mine and Seabridge Gold’s KSM-Iron Cap porphyry Cu-Au deposits in BC’s Golden Triangle. The program, with an approved expenditure of up to $2.8 million, included one of the largest and most technically challenging 3D IP surveys in BC history, completed by the top notch team at Dias Geophysical. The 3D IP survey demonstrated that Cu-Au mineralized zones on the property, which contain previously unrecognized porphyry-like veins, are underlain by very significant chargeability anomalies that remain untested by drilling. Mapping and sampling was completed by Scott McBride, Tony Barresi and Charlie Greig and his team. Their excellent work resulted in the discovery of multiple new showings, including a breccia in the Ice Creek area from which a sample returned 262 g/t Au and 2.46% Cu; a significant chargeability anomaly lurks beneath this high grade discovery and remains untested by drilling. We are looking forward to working with Freeport to advance this exciting project in 2024.”
