Jonathan Rudd Jonathan Rudd is a professional engineer and geophysicist who has extensive experience in the application of borehole, ground and airborne geophysical methods to address geological challenges. Jonathan has worked in senior management for the last 12 years with a principal focus on technology development and business development. He is a past-president of the Canadian Exploration Geophysical Society. Jonathan is based in the Toronto area.
Glenn Chubak, M.Sc
Vice-President and Director
Glenn Chubak is a geophysicist with experience in a wide variety of international research initiatives. He has directed and participated in the ongoing development of the DIAS32 cable-free acquisition system, and was a key researcher in an international collaboration on magnetometric resistivity and induced polarization method. Glenn has management and operational experience in site remediation of oil and gas facilities in Alberta. Glenn is based in Saskatoon.
Matthew Friesen, B.E, B.Sc.
Research & Development Manager
Matthew’s vast experience is in electronics instrument design and manufacturing. He has been responsible for development of new products in areas of factory automation, environmental monitoring and mineral exploration. In 2013, Matthew began work on the design of the geophysical instrument that would become the core technology used for Dias Geophysical’s ground surveys. Matthew has a B.S. in Eng. Physics and Computer Science from the U of S., B.E, B.Sc.
Aaron Snider, B.Sc.
Operations Manager
Aaron Snider has been working in the mineral exploration geophysics industry since 2006, specializing in ground geophysics survey design and data quality solutions in challenging environments. He holds a BSc in Computational Geophysics. He has managed or conducted surveys in 15 countries on six continents and captures stunning photos in his spare time. Aaron has been with Dias since 2016 and is based out of the Vancouver office.
Charlotte A Thibaud, M.Sc., MBA, P.Geo
Processing Manager
Charlotte received a Mastere in Geophysics at the Ecole and Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre of Strasbourg, France, and an MBA) from the University of British Columbia. She has been working in the mineral exploration industry since 2007 and received her Professional Geoscientist designation in 2016. Based out of the Vancouver office, she joined Dias Geophysical in 2015, focusing on building the processing, QC and inversion team.
Tim Stade, CPA
Controller
Tim received his B. Comm. with a major in Accounting from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan, graduating with distinction. Tim obtained his CPA designation in 2017. Tim’s background is primarily in public practice where he gained experience and knowledge in various industries. Tim made the move to industry when joining Dias Geophysical in June, 2020 as the Controller.

Max Leiva, M.Sc
Country Manager, Chile
Based in Santiago, Chile, Max Leiva is a geophysicist with hands-on experience in the application of ground geophysical methods to address geological challenges in a variety of topics, from mineral exploration to basin, crustal faults, and groundwater research. Max has worked on the many aspects of geophysical surveys, from design to acquisition, and from processing to modelling and interpretation.
Francisco Cervantes, BSc.
Country Manager, Mexico
Based in Monterrey City, Mexico, Francisco, Engineer Geophysics, has 14 years of experience in applied geophysics to mining and mineral exploration with a focus on survey design, data acquisition and logistics. Francisco has experience in all weather, all terrain: surveyed from from sea level to 5700 masl, 11 countries in 3 continents – over the most dynamic geological environments both brownfield and greenfield.

Dan Eremenco, BSc.

With a BSc in Exploration Geophysics, Dan has worked in exploration geophysics since 2004, with global experience in a wide variety of commodities. In the last 7 years, Dan has held management roles within Gap Geophysics, ranging from Operational, Business Development, Commercial and most recently as Managing Director. Dan is currently undertaking his MBA.

Sales Manager
Based in Toronto, Vasco studied Civil Engineering at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and has an MBA from Herriot Watt University. Vasco has over 14 years experience in Airborne and Ground Geophysics business development and sales management. True to nature – Vasco collects and studies precious rocks, minerals and rare stones in his spare time.

Marc graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc in Earth Sciences. Marc brings over 24 years of experience and provides invaluable knowledge to our team. Some of the highlights and accomplishments for his career to date include management of multiple multi-million-dollar international projects from initial sales to proposal to final project close out and decommissioning.
Peter Dueck, BSc, MBA
Airborne Sales
Peter has been in the resource exploration industry since 2001, working with a variety of gold, copper, zinc and uranium companies including Chief Geophysicist for Hudbay Minerals, President of Pioneer Aerial Surveys Ltd. and founder of Aerial Imaging Resources Inc. (AIR). Peter was also VP Geophysics and Geomatics at Axiom Exploration and Director of Field Data Acquisition for ALS GoldSpot.
