DIAS32 3D IP Survey Points the Way
September 9, 2026
VR Resources Ltd. reports MAJOR DISCOVERY at New Boston, Nevada using Dias 3D IP survey data.
VR Resources Ltd. has reported a significant new discovery at its New Boston Project in Nevada, confirming a large-scale mineral system containing copper, tungsten, molybdenum, silver, and zinc.
• Highlight of the discovery.
The highlight is a drill hole that intersected mineralization from surface to a depth of 881 metres, demonstrating a mineralized system with both substantial vertical depth and multi-kilometre strike length potential. The results included broad intervals of copper and critical metals, along with several higher-grade zones that could become important targets for future drilling.
• How was the discovery found?
VR Resources Ltd. hired DIAS to conduct a 3D DCIP geophysical survey in 2023. Prior to the 2026 drilling program, the survey data was reviewed with the team at DIAS, helping refine and better define key conductivity and chargeability anomalies at the Jeep Mine target area. These geophysical signatures were interpreted as possible indicators of the centre of the mineral system and ultimately guided the placement of drill hole NB26-003, which delivered these impressive results.
• More than 60 years of previous exploration on the property had not discovered this!
According to VR Resources Ltd., the conductivity and IP chargeability anomalies that led to this discovery had not been recognized or drilled during more than 60 years of previous exploration on the property. The success of NB26-003 highlights the value of DIAS advanced geophysical imaging and collaborative interpretation in uncovering new mineral discoveries.
At DIAS, we’re proud to have contributed to the geophysical review and targeting process that helped advance this exciting project. It’s another example of how detailed subsurface imaging and interpretation can help companies focus on the most promising targets and unlock new discoveries.
Congratulations to the team at VR Resources Ltd. on this important milestone. We look forward to seeing what the next phase of drilling reveals.
